Dumani Foundation Trust was started by a group of young men with a vision to do some social good for the poor and downtrodden. Dumani Foundation Trust is a non-profit, non-government development organization committed to improving the lives of people less fortunate in Odisha, India, through participation and empowerment After working for a couple of years it was felt that the Trust should get a legal status to make the effort more effective. Dumani Foundation Trust’ was brought into existence on 5^th day of January 2016, by means of deed of trust, Document No 41081600085, Application No. 1081600114, Volume No: 2,Book No.4, dated 05.01.2016  in the office of the Sub-Registrar, Bhubaneswar Thus the organization was registered as a Charitable Trust in the year 2015-16 under the Indian Trust Act. 1882.
